Dec.2013 - Teddy and the Robber Boys

Teddy and the Robber Boys , a book for bed-time reading to children in the 3 - 5 age range has just been  published by John Acton in Kindle format. It is now available for downloading from Amazon/Kindle.
In addition to the hand drawn frontispiece, there are five photos illustrating this short story. 

A Teddy Bear, beloved by a small girl called Lucy,  goes off for an evening adventure in the forest at the bottom of her garden. Teddy is joined by Ginger, the family cat, who adopts a very superior air to dumpy Teddy.
They encounter three rough boys, one riding a bike which they later discover had been stolen from Lucy. How are they going to confront the boys and recover Lucy's cycle? Clever Ginger takes command and gets help from squirrels and birds in the forest. Dumpy Teddy is allowed only a small part in this dangerous situation. But Teddy wants to do something brave to impress  Lucy. You must read the story to find out how Teddy became a hero.
